Dr. Hardy Kietzmann studied physics in Cologne and obtained his PhD in experimental physics at the research center Juelich (FZJ). He worked with Sanofi Group for more than 20 years in various functions. Mid of 2012 he took the newly created role as Director Innovation. In this function, he scouted non-pharmaceutical business development projects for Sales and Marketing in areas like Digital Health, Devices and Diagnostics, with the main target to support the existing pharmaceutical products. Since 2015 he also supports digital health accelerators like StartUpBootCamp and others as a mentor and more generally as a speaker at innovation congresses. End of 2020 he left Sanofi and is working now as an independent consultant on DiGA topics.
